Bengal minister Biraj Biswas visits Raiganj Correctional Home to collect data on Bangladeshi Hindu inmates

Siliguri, Nov 8 (UNI) West Bengal Minister for Law Biraj Biswas on Sunday visited Raiganj Correctional Home in North Dinajpur to collect details of Bangladeshi Hindu nationals lodged there after allegedly entering India without valid travel documents and ascertain their willingness to settle in the country and seek Indian citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). During the visit, Biswas interacted with correctional home officials and inmates. Around 15 Bangladeshi Hindu nationals, most of them men, are lodged there.
