HC directs Odisha govt to frame guidelines on DJ use within six weeks

Bhubaneswar, Sep 22 (UNI) The Orissa High Court has directed the state government to frame within six weeks guidelines regulating the use of DJs, sound systems and musical instruments, amid a challenge to restrictions imposed on DJ use in Jagatsinghpur district. A bench headed by Justice R K Pattanaik issued the direction on Monday while hearing a petition filed by the Jagannath Tent Light and Sound Owners' Association challenging the September 15 order of the Jagatsinghpur administration restricting DJ use.
