Odisha POCSO court sentences man to 25 Years in minor gang-rape case

Kendrapada, Sep 23 (UNI) A special POCSO court in Kendrapada on Wednesday sentenced a 58-year-old man to 25 years of rigorous imprisonment in a gang-rape of a minor girl and causing her to become six months pregnant. Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge under the POCSO Act, Prangya Parmita Raul, also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on the convict. In default of payment, he will undergo an additional one year of rigorous imprisonment.
