Centre to take concrete steps for relief, rehabilitation and compensation: Chouhan

Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) Assuring farmers and flood victims of standing firmly with them in the crisis, the union Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said the Centre would take all possible measures to provide relief, rehabilitation and compensation to people affected by the severe floods in Bihar. Chouhan, who arrived in Bihar on the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, conducted an extensive assessment of flood-affected areas along with Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, state ministers and senior officials from the Centre and the state government.
