Manipur to host ISL Match for 1st time, celebrates Tourism Day

Imphal, Sep 27 (UNI) Manipur will host an Indian Super League (ISL) football match for the first time, with NorthEast United FC scheduled to play a match in the State on November 24, the State government announced today. The announcement was made during the observance of World Tourism Day 2026 at Sangai Ethnic Park, Moirang Khunou, in Bishnupur district. Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh attended the programme held on the theme "Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism".
