Technical, scientific and professional literature should be available in Odia: Odisha Governor

Bhubaneswar, Sep 26 (UNI) Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday called for concerted efforts to make Odia a language of knowledge, skills, innovation and opportunity, stressing the need to make quality technical, scientific and professional literature available in the mother tongue. Addressing a state-level seminar on "Our Language, Our Pride and the Way Forward for Viksit Odisha@2036", organised by socio-cultural and literary organisation Viswamukti, Kambhampati said laws, government schemes and other essential public documents should also be translated into simple and accessible Odia.
