Bengal: Six-member SIT formed to probe SRFTI violence

Kolkata, Sep 30 (UNI) The West Bengal government on Wednesday formed a six-member Special Investigation Team (SIT), headed by Additional Commissioner of Kolkata Police (Crime) Kunal Agarwal, to probe the recent violence at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI). The order issued by Home Secretary Sanghamitra Ghosh stated that the SIT includes Sparsha Nilangi, Deputy Commissioner (Detective Department), Kolkata Police; Kaushik Ghosh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID; and Salil Roy, Assistant Commissioner, Anti-Rowdy Section, Kolkata Police.
