Jharkhand: Rs 33.62 crore gold, cash looted from Jamshedpur bank

Jamshedpur, Sep 25 (UNI) Gold jewellery and cash worth around Rs 33.62 crore were looted from a Canara Bank branch in Jamshedpur on Friday after armed criminals allegedly held employees and security personnel hostage, according to the FIR. The incident occurred at the bank's Masjid Road branch under Golmuri police station between 9:10 am and 10:18 am, according to the complaint filed by branch chief manager Ajit Kumar.
