Odisha to frame social media policy, strengthen digital communication: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Oct 9 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced that the state government would formulate an effective social media policy and strengthen its digital communication network to ensure the swift, accurate and transparent dissemination of official information. Addressing an orientation programme for Odisha Information Service (OIS) officers on emerging trends in social media, Majhi said a seamless digital communication mechanism would be established in the Information and Public Relations Department, connecting district offices with the state headquarters.
