Bengal CM steps in as Jayanti relocation put on hold over site objections

Siliguri, Sep 23 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday assured residents of Jayanti that their concerns over the proposed rehabilitation site would be resolved, as the relocation of families from the core area of Buxa Tiger Reserve was put on hold following objections from a section of villagers. The issue came up during the Chief Minister's interaction with journalists at Jaldapara forest, amid preparations by the state government to reintroduce tigers in Buxa.
