Flipkart scales up operations in West Bengal

Kolkata, Sep 29 (UNI) E-commerce platform Flipkart is scaling up its West Bengal operations ahead of The Big Billion Days 2026, with its Haringhata fulfilment centre sending products to more than 5,000 PIN codes across India as the company gears up for a sharp rise in festive sales. The Haringhata facility has 50 lakh cubic feet of storage across six mezzanine levels and uses automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic packaging arms, cross-belt sorters and a nine-kilometre conveyor network to process and move orders.
