Bihar: Minister Jaiswal pulls up officials over slow land survey, seeks 15-day action plan

Patna, Sep 24 (UNI) Taking a stern view of the slow progress of the ongoing special land survey in Bihar, state Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal today directed officials to prepare a special action plan for the next 15 days in districts and circles lagging behind the prescribed targets. Reviewing the progress of the survey, Jaiswal said merely achieving numerical targets would not be enough and stressed that the accuracy of land records and timely completion of the exercise were equally important to protect the rights of landholders.
