KPSC scam: Court rejects suspended IAS officer Gangwar's bail plea

Bengaluru, Sep 25 (UNI) A Bengaluru court on Friday rejected the bail plea of suspended IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar, arrested in connection with the alleged Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) job-for-cash scam, despite his counsel citing his cancer treatment and other medical conditions. Gangwar, a former KPSC examination controller and accused No. 5 in the case, claimed through his counsel that he was a survivor of testicular cancer, had undergone two surgeries and was still receiving chemotherapy.
