Drug peddler nabbed with 680 gm heroin in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, May 24 (UNI) Ludhiana Special Task Force (STF) nabbed a drug peddler and seized 680 gram heroin from his scooter at New Satguru Nagar locality in this industrial town on Monday.
Giving this information here, STF Inspector incharge said on a specific tip-off, police laid a special trap and nabbed the drug peddler, identified as Deepak Kumar, near his house in New Satguru Nagar locality when he was on his way to supply the drugs to his clients.
The Police recovered 680 grams heroin, worth nearly Rs five crore, from the dicky of his scooter, he said and added that Deepak Kumar is a drug-addict.
