Chavan demands CIAF security at Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport in Nanded

Nanded, Mar 26 (UNI) Former chief minister and sitting MP Ashok Chavan on Monday demanded Central Industrial Armed Forces (CIAF) security at the Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport here.
In a letter to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Chavan, also the president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, said that Nanded being the place of the tenth Guru of the Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh Ji is visited by lakhs of people from all over the world for which an airport of international standard with night landing facility has been made available.
As several important people visit the city, CIAF is needed to protect the airport, Mr Chavan added.
