Cabinet decides to allocate sites for FEC in V'patnam, Tirupati

Amaravati, Feb 21 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, which met here on Wednesday under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu decided to allocate 2.7 acres of land for the establishment of Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) in Visakhapatnam and 3.72 acres of land for it in Tirupati.
Informing the Cabinet decisions to media in the Secretariat, I&PR Minister Kalva Srinivasulu said the Cabinet has decided to allocat 2.7 acres of land to the Sinemas Private limited (SPI) to establish a FEC in Visakhapatnam at a cost of Rs.25 crore. The site would be allocated on 33 years lease basis for which the SPL has to pay Rs.4.28 crore as lease amount for the first year, and thereafter, the same to be paid with 5 per cent increase to the government every year.
The FEC would be established under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
