Banks defer strike after IBA-UFBU talks ; pact on five-day week, wage and service issues in focus

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) The long-pending demand for a five-day banking week, changes to the Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for senior officers, and resolution of wage, service, pension and other pending issues will now be taken up through fresh negotiations between the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) and the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU).
