Telangana forms committee to clear pending land applications in Singareni coal belt

Hyderabad, Sept 19 (UNI) The Telangana government has constituted a committee of officials to dispose of pending land applications in the Singareni coal mine belt, following issues raised over Section 22-A of the Registration Act during a discussion in the State Legislative Assembly. According to a Revenue (Land Administration-I) Department memo issued on Saturday, the committee will examine pending applications under G.O. Ms. No. 76, Revenue (Assignment-I) Department, dated July 11, 2019, read with G.O. Ms. No. 28, dated March 17, 2023.
