There is an increase in health challenges facing mankind in the 21st century. Increasing life span on the one hand and new diseases on the other, along with environmental depletion, pose a fertile ground for growing health problems. Globally there are huge efforts being made to create new products, processes and services to address these pressing challenges. BITS Pilani has set up an incubator - BITS BIRAC BioNEST in its Goa Campus with a vision to create innovative start ups in the space of Health and Environment. The workshop was part of the series of workshop organised to fulfill this vision, the statement.
