4 killed as oil tanker dashes auto rickshaw near Kakinada

Kakinada, Jun 2 (UNI) Four persons were killed on the spot and two others injured when the auto rickshaw they were travelling from Samalkot to Achampet was dashed by a speeding oil tanker near Achampet junction on the city outskirts on Saturday evening.
Among those killed include the auto driver, a 70 year old woman and two children –a 10 year old boy and 8 year old girl. Their identity is yet to be established. DSP Ravi Varma told media persons that the injured were admitted to government general hospital where their condition is stated to be critical. The tanker driver was arrested.
A case has been registered and the bodies were sent to hospital for postmortem pending further investigation.
