Saudi Arabia suspends air operations in Riyadh after Houthi attack on Khalid International Airport leaves several injured

Riyadh, Oct 10 (UNI) Several people have been injured in a fresh attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, prompting Saudi Arabian authorities to suspend operations days after a series of strikes claimed by Yemen's Houthis. The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced the suspension on Saturday following the attack. Dozens of people were reportedly wounded. The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia said it was "aware of attacks on King Khalid International Airport" and urged American citizens to avoid the airport and surrounding areas.
