Gurugram, Oct 10 (UNI) Gurugram Traffic Police impounded a motorcycle with 53 unpaid challans totalling Rs 3.31 lakh after its rider was caught with a tampered number plate and failed to produce vehicle documents during a checking drive at Pasco Red Light, officials said on Saturday. The motorcycle was intercepted on October 9 by a traffic police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramkishan during a routine vehicle inspection. Police said the rider could not produce the required documents, while an examination of the motorcycle revealed that its registration number plate had been tampered with.
