London, Sep 24 (UNI) Global oil prices jumped on Thursday, with international benchmark Brent crude rising 3% to $106.24 a barrel before easing slightly as uncertainty continued over the seven-month Iran war. Oil prices had fallen for around two weeks amid hopes that a deal could restore the flow of Gulf oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz, as world leaders gathered in New York for the UN General Assembly.
