Fadnavis assures aid for drought-hit farmers before Diwali

Amravati, Sep 24 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday assured farmers affected by scanty rainfall that the state government would provide financial assistance before Diwali without waiting for Central aid. During his visit to drought-affected regions of Vidarbha, Fadnavis made a major announcement, stating that the Maharashtra government would extend relief to farmers from its own funds rather than wait for assistance from the Centre.
