Five men arrested near UK airbase used by US bombers

London, Sep 28 (UNI) British counterterrorism police have arrested five men on suspicion of explosives offences and preparing a terrorist act near an airbase in southwestern England used by US long-range bombers in the war against Iran, authorities said. Police were alerted shortly after midnight on Sunday to three suspicious vehicles travelling towards Royal Air Force base (RAF) Fairford in Gloucestershire.
