New York, Sep 27 (UNI) Iran said on Sunday it is awaiting a "definitive" US response through mediators on its proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, despite President Donald Trump rejecting the offer as "unacceptable". Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran has received Trump's public reaction but had yet to receive a formal response through the mediators, leaving the door open for further diplomatic discussions.
