Bangladesh to receive consignment of 18 modern Indian-made railway coaches

Darshana, Oct 16 (UNI) Bangladesh is set to receive a consignment of 18 modern broad-gauge railway coaches from India, with the shipment expected to enter the country through Darshana International Railway Station in Chuadanga district. The coaches, supplied under an agreement between Bangladesh Railway and India's Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES), were set to arrive on Friday, before being transported to the Saidpur Railway Workshop for inspection following customs clearance.
