US, China agree to create communication channel for AI incidents

Washington, Sep 26 (UNI) The United States and China have agreed to establish a bilateral communication channel for dealing with incidents involving artificial intelligence (AI), the White House said following a summit between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Washington, DC. The agreement was announced after Xi's three-day state visit to the US, during which the two leaders discussed AI, trade, Taiwan and several international conflicts, including the Middle East, Ukraine and the Korean Peninsula.
