Authoritarian mindset: Raj Thackeray attacks Centre over crackdown on CJP protesters

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray on Saturday accused Centre of promoting authoritarianism and misusing state machinery following the detention of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders during a protest in Delhi. Reacting to the detention of CJP founder Abhijit Dipke and leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, Thackeray invoked Dr B R Ambedkar's warning against sacrificing democratic freedoms for the sake of political leaders.
