Maha: Supriya Sule backs Abhijeet Dipke, questions govt over detention of CJP leaders

Mumbai, Oct 10 ( UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MP Supriya Sule, on Saturday, criticised the government over the detention of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and other party leaders ahead of their proposed protest in New Delhi, questioning the need to detain them when they were planning a peaceful demonstration. Speaking in Mumbai, Sule condemned the action and questioned why the authorities had detained the leaders if their protest was intended to be peaceful.
