Maha: Gorhe welcomes death sentence in Dongarale rape-murder case, seeks priority hearings in higher courts

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Legislative Council member, Dr Neelam Gorhe, today welcomed the death sentence awarded to Vijay Khairnar by a Malegaon court in the case of rape and murder of a four-and-a-half-year-old girl in Dongarale village of Malegaon taluka in Nashik district. Ms Gorhe also called for priority hearings in the High Court and Supreme Court to ensure that the subsequent legal proceedings are completed without undue delay.
