Fadnavis should answer farmers on promise of clearing farm loan records: Cong spokesperson

Mumbai, Sep 23 (UNI) Congress senior spokesperson Atul Londhe on Wednesday questioned Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the BJP's election-time promise to completely waive farmers' loans and clear their loan records, amid the prevailing drought situation in Maharashtra. Londhe said the drought situation in the state was serious and claimed that farmers were facing a major crisis while waiting for government assistance.
