Sharad Pawar-led NCP to organise protest against drought inaction

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) The Sharad Pawar-led NCP officially announced on Thursday that it plans to organise a protest march in Pandharpur on September 26 under the leadership of its founder Sharad Pawar demanding that the Maharashtra government immediately declare a drought and provide assistance to farmers. The decision was taken at a meeting of Sharad Pawar-ld NCP office bearers and workers in Pandharpur on Thursday, to plan the proposed protest march, party sources said.
