Congress warns of protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar visiting Maharashtra

Mumbai, Oct 7 ( UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Harshvardhan Sapkal on Wednesday warned that Congress workers would oppose Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's visit to Maharashtra over the functioning of the Election Commission. Addressing the issue, Sapkal alleged that Kumar was functioning in favour of the BJP while holding a constitutional position and accused the Election Commission of compromising the electoral process. He also alleged irregularities in the voter registration process, including changes related to Form 6.
