Maha: Two undertrial deaths in a month at Amravati Central Jail

Amravati, Sep 18 (UNI) Two young undertrial inmates lodged in Amravati Central Jail died within a span of one month, prompting a social worker to seek the intervention of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for a probe into the conditions there. The deceased have been identified as Adil Qureshi, a native of Mumbai and Mohammad Mohasin, a resident of Akola.
