Odisha CM announces Silicon Valley at Naraj to drive semiconductor growth

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced the development of an 870-acre Odisha Silicon Valley at Naraj near Cuttack, envisaging it as a major hub for semiconductor, electronics and IT projects. Making the announcement at SEMICON India 2026 in New Delhi, Majhi said the proposed Silicon Valley would bring together major projects across the semiconductor, electronics and IT sectors and strengthen Odisha's position in India's emerging technology ecosystem.
