Bombay High Court grants bail to accused in Pune builder Rajesh Kanabar murder case

Pune, Oct 17 (UNI) The Bombay High Court has granted bail to Rakesh Ramesh Burate, accused in the 2020 sensational murder of Pune-based builder Rajesh Haridas Kanabar, citing his prolonged incarceration and the bail granted to several co-accused. Justice Milind N. Jadhav allowed Burate's bail application noting that he had spent more than six years in judicial custody and that only two of the 20 prosecution witnesses had been examined.
