J&K Sports Council warns associations of action for violating guidelines

Jammu, Oct 17 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has warned registered and affiliated sports associations of administrative action, withholding of financial assistance and suspension of recognition for violating its guidelines on organising selection trials, coaching camps and participation in national championships. In a circular, Sports Council Secretary Tazayun Mukhtar Kawos directed all recognised sports associations in the union Territory to strictly comply with the prescribed procedures and timelines to ensure transparency and accountability in sports administration.
