Maha: Six workers injured after gas leakage blast at chemical company in Mahad MIDC; probe underway

Mumbai, Oct 9 (UNI) Six workers were injured in a blast triggered by gas leakage at Asteroid Life Science chemical company located in Mahad MIDC, Raigad district, in Maharashtra, an official said here on Friday. According to primary information, the blast occurred during the Nitrene process in the company, after gas leakage. All six injured labourers were admitted to a private hospital in Mahad for treatment. Treatment is underway. On getting information, police, the fire brigade and ambulance rushed to the spot.
