22-year-old Nashik man carried in sling to Gujarat hospital amid lack of road access

Nashik, Sept 22 (UNI) A 22-year-old man from Khirpada-Wanganpada, a village in Nashik District, near the Maharashtra-Gujarat border, had to be carried in a sling to reach a health centre in Mani, Gujarat, after his condition deteriorated. Bhaskar Pandu Ture had reportedly been ill for the past six to seven days. The nearest primary health centre (PHC) on the Maharashtra side is around 24 km away, while Mani in Gujarat is only about 5 km from the village and can normally be reached in around 16 minutes.
