HC issues notices over alleged irregularities in Nagpur Graduates' Voter List

Nagpur, Oct 27 (UNI) The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court on Tuesday sought responses from the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the Divisional Commissioner, who is also the returning officer, on a petition alleging large-scale omissions from the voter list for the Nagpur Division Graduates' Constituency. The court issued the notices as vote counting for the constituency's election commenced on Tuesday. A division bench comprising Justice Urmila Joshi-Phalke and Justice Raj Wakode directed the respondents to submit their replies by October 30.
