Maha: Seven hospitalised after lizard found in snacks packet in Chandrapur

Chandrapur, Sep 29 (UNI) Seven persons were hospitalised after allegedly consuming contaminated snacks in Chandrapur district, where a lizard was reportedly found in a packet purchased from a local snack shop, police said on Tuesday. According to reports, the affected persons on Monday afternoon purchased raw chivda (snacks) from a shop near the ITI area in Chandrapur city. Soon after consuming the snack, they complained of vomiting, nausea and discomfort and were rushed to a sub-district hospital for treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.
