Maha: FDA seizes gutka worth Rs 12.10 lakh in Nagpur, 3 arrested; suspends licences of 14 eateries including 7 in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) In a statewide festive-season crackdown, the Food and Drug Administration, Maharashtra seized milk and dairy products worth Rs 7.38 lakh and gutka worth Rs 12.10 lakh in Nagpur, arresting three persons, while suspending licences of 14 hotels and restaurants including seven in Mumbai. According to a press note issued by FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, a total of 27 hotels, restaurants and dhabas were inspected on September 16 across the state.
