FDA Seizes Adulterated Food Worth Rs 30 Lakh Across Maharashtra, Five Mumbai Eateries Face Licence Suspension

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) Amid the festive season, the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration has launched an intensive state-wide enforcement drive, seizing suspected adulterated, misbranded and substandard food items worth Rs 30.81 lakh, while licences and registration certificates of five establishments in Mumbai have been suspended for serious violations. In a press note issued on Monday, the FDA said action was taken against 18 establishments across five divisions - Brihanmumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nagpur.
