Maha: Tourist bus catches fire on Mumbai-Pune Expressway, 14 passengers safe

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) A double-decker tourist bus caught fire on the Pune-bound side of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Khalapur Toll Plaza today morning, but all 14 passengers escaped safely, officials said. The incident occurred around 7.37 am in the morning when the bus was heading towards Pune. After the fire was noticed, fire brigade and rescue teams were rushed to the spot and began to douse the flames.
