Maha: Calligraphy exhibition at Pune Festival draws good response

Pune, Sep 17 (UNI) A calligraphy exhibition featuring more than 300 artworks by over 50 calligraphers from Maharashtra was held at Balgandharva Art Gallery here today as part of the Pune Festival. The exhibition, organised by Aksharanand Calligraphy, was inaugurated by Pune Festival president Krishnakumar Goel. Pune Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Vasundhara Barve, organisation president Pramod Patil, Pramod Umaradand, Sachin Adekar, art teachers and students were present on the occasion. More than 500 students from Ramanbaug and Modern High School attended demonstrations on calligraphy during the exhibition.
