Bombay High Court Intervention Clears Way For Visually Impaired Beed Girl To Pursue Medical Education

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) An 18-year-old visually impaired student from Beed district has secured admission to Government Medical College, Sangli Miraj, after the Bombay High Court's Aurangabad Bench intervened in a dispute over her eligibility for medical education. Syed Musfira Fatema Rafiuddin, who has a benchmark visual disability associated with congenital low vision, albinism, nystagmus and amblyopia, qualified NEET-UG 2026 with 345 marks out of 720 and an All India OBC-NCL PwBD rank of 796.
