Maha: MBVV crime branch busts inter-state MD drug network, 19 arrested

Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) The Crime Branch Unit-4 of the Mira-Bhayandar Vasai-Virar (MBVV) Police in Maharashtra has busted an inter-state drug manufacturing network with the detection of illegal facilities in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana, leading to the arrest of 19 accused so far, police said on Saturday. The latest operation led to the detection of an illegal facility at Pashamylaram in Patancheru, Telangana's Sangareddy district, where a chemical allegedly used in the manufacture of MD drugs was being prepared.
