Temporary railway crossing, alternative road opened at Jakhal to ease traffic disruption

Jakhal, Oct 24 (UNI) A temporary railway crossing and an alternative road have been opened on the Jakhal-Talwara road to restore connectivity disrupted by the ongoing construction of railway overbridges and underbridges on both sides of Jakhal Junction,, officials said on Saturday. The arrangement is aimed at restoring connectivity and providing relief to villagers, farmers and traders, particularly during the ongoing paddy procurement season. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Akash Sharma said the temporary facilities were put in place through coordination between the district administration and the Railways under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Dr Vivek Bharti.
