Kolhapur: Jail officer beaten and injured by six prisoners

Kolhapur, Sep 17 (UNI) In a shocking incident, six prisoners serving a jail sentence, abused and kicked a senior jail officer and beat him with a stone in district Kalamba jail in the city. According to Juna Rajwada police, six prisoners, who were serving a sentence of imprisonment, entered the room of a senior officer Prakash Chavan (50), without any permission and abused him, beat him with a stone, injuring the officer.
